I also enjoyed when you were on Sleep圜ast. I know Arin Hanson once said that Newgrounds was where he met both the "best people" and the "worst people" he's ever met. God, the forums had some toxing fucking people on there. Me and my brothers from 2003 onward spent hours of our life cruising through the animations, games, forums, and the audio portal later. Man, you have no idea how much Newgrounds affected my life in the 2000s. Holy fucking shit, is this really Tom Fulp? Wow. YouTube pretty much said f*** their creators and it is no where near as flexible. Clout became a "drug", and mental health is on a decline from online comparison. Websites all follow a more sleek corporate aesthetic, although some good designs are there. The big ones such as Twitter, Instagram, FB and TikTok took out other niche sites. Social media all follow the same trend and lost their identities. They all look the same, and Facebook bought everything out. Websites were still pretty chill, and you still had unique stuff like Formspring, and Instagram was new and different. All the apps/sites still had their own identity, and YouTube still felt like the people mattered. Social Media was bigger, but it wasnt completely corporate as it is now. Websites all had a unique design and feel, and people were just more chill. Social media and websites were more diverse and niche. Social media was more about interacting with others and keeping in touch vs who's the best looking and clout. The Internet in general was like this around that time. It was really all about the content and no politics. Sites like YouTube and Newgrounds were relatively new so the creators had full creative control. Changelog:ģ/15/21 - edited Adobe Flash part (since Flash is discontinued).Anyone else miss how the Internet used to be in the mid 2000s- early 2010s? Those were the Golden and Silver Age of the web imo, things weren't as corporate and much more laid back If more common questions arise, I will add them to this post. If you have any additional questions, reply down below. I've dedicated a blog page which has an invite, you can click the invite on the sub's sidebar, or you can click here.We are not associated with them in this Subreddit or in this sub's Discord server due to its heavily controversial development. " Pixel Park" is the name for "Plan Z" which was the plan from the same guy who was going to make the Fantage Legacy private server.Adobe no longer supports Flash, so you'll have to be careful when searching for a third-party software to use. The Fantagian blog has a treasure trove of them. Yes, you must have Adobe Flash, or a third party flash player installed to play them.Is there somewhere to play Fantage's minigames?. If you want to see more on simulations or archived Fantage assets, you can tap here to join the Discord or tap the invite in the sidebar. There are some simulations floating around out there, as far as I'm aware, but that's about all.
